Portfolio: Glasgow Back Alley Blues

I love the irony that a design so soft and gauzy started out as a photo of back alley grittiness on the side streets of Glasgow. It looks particularly good on the leggings, with the right leg doing a lot of the lifting; the criss-crossing pattern feels very natural, but the blossoming white space at the hip and above combined with those very soft compound curves is what made me sit up and notice during the design process. The palette is also unusual in that it's relatively rare for a design's palette to have such a limited range, next door to indigo.
