I came across this amazing intercom while walking around the back streets of Florence. Like most of Europe, the bulk of the buildings in the Old Town are row houses, each with a common front door and the inevitable intercom. This one has seen many years and acquired a patina that is mouth watering in its richness. Such depth! I could dive deep into that finish. Sometimes it's helpful to have a definitive example of a finish, something that a palette can be generated from. This is definitive well-aged either copper or bronze. I'm leaning bronze over copper because of the palette, but I could be wrong. Either way, beautiful.
This design is a great example of how some images are suited in different ways for different products. Placement of the image is key.
